Dragosh is doing splendidly. He’s just a little love-bundle; cuddles, purrs up a storm, sits on my book when I’m reading, on the computer keyboard when I’m working (deletes files like crazy with the famous sneaky paw), rides from one room to another on my shoulder, launches himself at me from the end of the hall and climbs up my leg as if I am a mildly unsatisfactory tree, and has never heard of sitting calmly for half a second somewhere other than on me and not being noticed. When not on me or about to be, he tears madly from one end of the apartment to the other, leaving a trail of knocked down objects in his wake, chases Kali’s tail, inserts toys in my slippers and shoes so I’ll encounter them when I put my foot there, climbs curtains and venetian blind cords, goes behind the books on the bookshelf and knocks a whole row down, and so on. A normal, healthy kitten, in other words. He eats enough for a cat and a half, leaving enough for half a cat for Kali, but she doesn’t seem to mind. She has accepted him, and holds him down with a firm paw when she wants to clean him. She lets him eat first, and calmly gives him her bowl when he decides that her stuff is better than his. He is a sweetheart... - JJ from New Jersey
I’m glad that you enjoyed the pictures and that the babies are looking well in your opinion. I know they seem very happy to us! I am definitely mommy to them. They like both of us of course, but they follow me absolutely everywhere I go in the house and as soon as I sit down somewhere, one or both of them jump up on me to sit with me. They also like to curl up and sleep on me when I am laying down watching TV or for a nap. It’s too cute! Actually, I should say that all three of them sit/sleep with me. The third being Martin, Alante’s blue fishy. He loves that toy. It used to be attached to a bungee string on a “fishing pole,” but somehow the cord got chewed in half and so I finally just cut the fish off. Prior to that Arianna would often grab the end of the pole and drag it and Alante would then chase after the fish on the other end. He would also drag the fish with pole and all everywhere he went. But he is like a little kid with his favorite toy – where he goes, the fish goes. If he is somewhere in the house and realizes his fishy is not nearby, he goes and finds it and carries it in his mouth back to the place where he was. He plays fetch with me and the fish and when he curls up on me to sleep, I often wake up to find that the fish is lying on top of me as well! It is so funny...
The trip home went very well. She [Melinka] stayed in the carrier beside me, with me laying horizontally in the back seat. After a bit, I opened one end, and she settled to sleep snuggled up against my chest for the whole trip, purring a lot. She likes micro fleece and I was wearing fleece and the blanket I use in the car is microfleece too. Intro to the house went fine too. She tentatively explored the main floor (basement off limits), then became more confident quickly. The upstairs...for now, only our bedroom door is open to her. She followed us upstairs and after some exploring of every nook and cranny, she snuggled in to sleep between us, mostly up against me; non stop motor on... She follows me around and likes to be up against me.... She is beautiful, as are all of your cats that we met. It is so clear to us how much love and attention you lavish on your cats! We are so grateful to you! [My husband] has had zero reaction, even with her in the bed all night! [My husband] is enjoying watching all the normal cat behaviours that he is not familiar with.... like kneading, and chasing blanket covered toes in bed. He can't believe her loud purr!... Anyway, we are thrilled with her and thrilled that you were the ones to nurture her to this point. THANK YOU!
[Bashka] is doing great. She has fit in with the family so well that we don’t know what we’d do without her. She makes us laugh and shake our heads at her every day. She completely loves the boys and wherever they are she is always right there with them. As soon as they get up to go to bed at night, no matter where in the house she is, she’ll come running upstairs to jump in bed with them. I was searching all over the house for her last weekend and should have known that when I went downstairs to ask my oldest if he had seen her (he was playing his Playstation), there she was curled up in a ball right next to him.
Well, Cai behaved beautifully on the way home. He's so laid back. When I got home, I introduced Zoe to Cai as you recommended. I've never seen Zoe so still (or so puffed up!). They both were so still and quiet -- just a lot of sniffing going on. I had [my friend] bring Cai inside in the crate, and we put him in the spare bedroom. He was happy there as long as [my friend] was in there, but cried and cried when left alone. Zoe was very curious about it all, and kept peeking under the door to see what was going on. Finally, I decided to have [my friend] bring Cai out and hold him, and Cai just wiggled until she had to put him down. Zoe was fine! Not a single hiss or growl! I was so proud of her! She really seems to like Cai, and they have played for hours. Cai was just running around from place to place checking things out, playing with everything in sight, with Zoe trailing behind him. Cai is very comfortable here...He was such a good boy -- he's used the litter box twice. He is such a cutie. Thanks again for driving to meet me.
Selune is doing great. The trip home was quiet and calm. She spent most of the trip curled on my lap or curled in the carrier. (She seemed to prefer the carrier to my lap in busy cities.) I think Selune misses her family like they miss her, but Pandora is keeping her entertained. I don't think I've ever seen 2 cats handle each other better. There has been some hissing and growling, but its balanced out by a lot of curling up together and batting a toy between each other... It was nice to meet you too. I could tell that Selune and her family are well taken care of and very loved. I hope you know that [my husband] and I will do our best to continue giving Selune that kind of care and love. - T & R from Wisconsin
We call Thea, "Tee-Tee Bobbies". I have no idea why. That is just what everyone calls her. I call Sinneka, "Sinn-Sinns". She will jump up on our bed at night, scratch me with her paw until I lift up the covers, and then she walks about a foot down under the covers and sleeps there. It is so cute. I always prop up the blanket, I'm afraid she won't get enough air. Thea has decided she likes to help me cook. She gets up on our kitchen island while I'm cooking and helps supervise. We sure love these girls. I told [my oldest son] the other night, I can't even imagine life without them. They are truly a part of our family. Kisses and head-butts from the girls. They are beautiful, happy little sweethearts. That is unless I am trying to fold clothes. They attack my piles of nicely folded clothes. Then they are just the resident psycho kitties. WE LOVE THEM ! - L.P. & family from Indiana
We just wanted to send some pictures to you of Borias’s first Christmas. He made out very well with plenty of new toys and lots of love. I think his favorite toy was my Christmas gift – an iRobot self cleaning vacuum. He chases it around the house and pounces on it – so cute...We just love having [him] around – he is just adorable and such a nice addition to our family...He is growing in leaps and bounds! -L.Z. and family from New Jersey
I just wanted to follow-up with my phone conversation with Jan last night and let you know that I dropped the deposit ... in the mail this afternoon, so you should have it by Friday. I appreciate the time you took to answer my questions, as well as allowing me to blather on in my excitement. :) [We] would like to thank you both again for helping us to arrive at a place where we feel comfortable with the idea of becoming cat owners. -T.B. from Pennsylvania
Hi, I'm Lilo's mom and I was so happy to see him on your website. He's still a "wild man" but extremely affectionate and more handsome every day! I've attached another picture of him with a red background. I figure he's about 12.5 pounds now, but pure muscle. We love him! - R.S. from California
Yoki is doing great, she's fully used to her new home. She greets us at the door when we come in, chittering loudly, and is our new alarm clock. She seems healthy and vibrant, and is a real pleasure to have. She loves to play, and is trying desperately to figure out a way to climb up my bookshelves, since she can only jump to the 3rd shelf out of 5. Thanks again for a great kitten! - M. & B.K. from Pennsylvania
Thanks for the reference, I'll certainly check out the site. The last few months have been a real eye opener for me. I've communicated with professional and reputable breeders like yourself, who have been so pleasant and generous with information. On the other hand, I had no idea how many people are out there breeding animals irresponsibly and inhumanely. One woman even emailed me photos of kittens in cages...I was horrified. The looks on their faces broke my heart... God, I wish I could adopt them all...Asante looks like a little prince. He gorgeous and obviously well taken care of. He had a good beginning and will surely go onto being loved by a wonderful family. Thanks again for getting back to me. - S.B. from New York
Hi there, I just want to thank you for the informative website. I've been researching the Siberians like mad lately and your site is the most helpful informative site I've been across, and that is many! It's such a shame you live so far from us, the boy kitten you have is adorable, but I think the shipping would be a nightmare for him...Anyway, I just had to comment on your site and thank you for all the great information. - P. from Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Arianna ... is such a warm and loving kitty, too... she is very friendly and likes to cuddle. The two of them are best buddies and do everything together – even get into trouble! We usually find them sleeping curled up together on their condo or tree. And, of course they love to wrestle and chase after each other ... Arianna is a tough little girl! Alante usually starts the wrestling match, but she whoops his bum and then gets up and struts away really slow to look tough. It’s hysterical! ... Alante still does his funny walk with his tail held high over his back...They bring us a lot of joy and laughter everyday... I had a jewelry party...and the babies were in their element parading around in front of everyone and being loved by all! Those two are such hams sometimes! - K.K. from Pennsylvania

...She has decided that she likes watching football on TV.... [My husband] is suitably impressed with this! He adores her and plays with her a lot. She walks on him but isn't super cuddly with him yet. I can tell you that it is wonderful to see her adapting to her new environment...She is oh-so-sweetly telling us who is in charge!...She is now attaching herself with velcro to both [my husband] and I. [My husband] was feeling a little left out the first day. [My husband] has not detected any reaction so far, even with Malinka sleeping between us both nights. - C & L from Pennsylvania

Her favorite toys are these little fur mice that I picked up. She chases them around the house, carries them upstairs when we go to bed and proceeds to chase them around the bed. I’m constantly finding them in every room of the house, on the stairs, in my shoes, on the table, and every time I take a load of clothes out of the washer, there is always one of them in the bottom…
(she loves jumping and playing in both dirty and clean clothes too, or maybe she just likes her mice clean!). She hasn’t gotten to that lanky stage that all of my other kittens seemed to go through (really long legs out of proportion to their body) but is just a big beautiful cat. Everyone that meets her completely falls in love with her. She is just so personable with everyone and loves to play and torment (and be tormented)! - A.K. from Virginia

The girls are doing great. Every time I think they have totally settled in they prove me wrong and get just a little more comfortable around the house. They were quite the sight at Christmas. They managed to attack the gifts under the tree...................we had to re wrap. They fought over a little tiny open spot under the tree. One of them would bunker down in this little open spot where they could pretty much observe the happenings of the household. They would fight over this spot............Thea usually wins. Poor Sinneka...

(Next day...) Well, it just about killed me not to have Cai sleep with me last night! He is such a lover... After Zoe got a little rough last night, I put her in my room for a break, and little Cai fell sound asleep on my chest. I didn't want Zoe to get jealous, because she always sleeps with me, so I put Cai in his bed in the spare bedroom after a few hours. He was pretty tired out after yesterday, and I didn't hear a peep from him...
(Later) Things couldn't be better! Zoe and Cai are best of friends. One is always following the other. Cai's comfort level has soared, and he was actually the one running after Zoe and jumping on her yesterday! Pretty funny. He is absolutely the sweetest cat ever. All my friends with cats are envious:) He is such a little lovebug. I can't get enough of him. And Zoe has settled down. She gets very maternal with him often, cleaning and preening him. He laps it up. And for the first time since I've gotten Zoe, I don't have any teeth marks on my arms! All that kitten energy is being expended playing with Cai, who holds his own... Thanks again for such a delightful kitten. Honestly, it is a perfect match! -- for me and for Zoe. - D.M. from New Jersey
He really is such a sweetie, and I couldn't be more delighted... Thanks for all your encouragement and advise. As I said, I know dogs, but cats are still new to me.
