Siberian Cat History Explored

Why has the Siberian Cat's history been such a chore for me to write about, and
one of the last pieces of information to add to our website?

Well, for one, I do other types of historical research, and I know you need
primary and secondary sources to glean information from. The Siberian's history
comes primarily from myth, oral history, genetic possibilities (notice I did not
say 'probabilities' - I will explain this later). You can go to one website or
another on the web and see all the various myths and oral stories - some told in
far fetched details, some written as fact. But fact must be proven with evidence,
and the evidence of the ancestral cats that gave rise to the Siberian breed is
hypothesis at it's best.
